1. Steve Lambert - Set up a booth selling various art (paintings, sculptures etc), but only accept other pieces as payment so as to not set people back financially.
2. The Absurdists - Set up signs along a hiking path telling a made up story about the history of that path or area. The signs could be made out of wood and be placed along the length of a walking path in a park or someplace similar. The fake story about that place could be about anything really.
3. Natalie Jeremijenko - Turn trash/found objects into flower or tree shapes and plant them in places that are often dirty or neglected.
4. Future Farmers of America - Have people collectively make a sculpture or image by pinning various fruits and vegetables to a wall/surface.
5. Bill Fontana - Put different natural objects on a walking path (leaves, sticks, water, sand etc) and encourage people to walk on them and hear the different nature sounds.
6. Jessica Findley - Get people to run around with resistance parachutes.
7. Mel Chin - Turn street signs/lights into greek styled columns
8. Eve Mosher - Make "future site of" signs that show a garden/park or something environmentally conscious and place them in vacant areas. The signs would say that one of these areas will soon occupy this space or replace whatever might be there already.
9. Fletcher/July - Find random volunteers to help come up with/make something that will be put up in public.
10. Nancy Holt - Cut designs into wood and put it somewhere so that when the sun is at the right angle, it will cast a shadow of that shape.
11. Francis Alys - Group of people go to a public space, each person picks a different surface or object, everyone collectively makes a song or rhythm using whatever object or surface.
12. Olafur Eliasson - Set up mirrors and angle them towards things that people might not normally notice.
13. Janet Echelman - Make a sculpture out of nets and hang it somewhere where there is always a large crowd or lots of foot traffic.
14. Tomas Ceraceno - Set up a tightrope between two trees and have people try to paint something while trying not to fall off.
15. Igor Grubic - Decorate the statues or trees so that they look patriotic
16. Rafael Hemmer - Project images of shadow people on a wall so people can walk in front of it and have their shadows interact with the images.
17. Democracia - Do a performance piece or some sort of event in a place of historical importance to the city.
18. Pawel Althemer - Put up detour signs along a walking path that point away from the path/anything manmade.
19. Think Again - Make a billboard informing people of a local art event or film screening, like they do with gun shows.
20. Joana Vasconselos - Turn a bike into a rideable sculpture using a bunch of everyday objects, or have a lot of bike sculptures and do a race of some sort.
Best = 2 & 8
